Event information
The Junior Summer Skills Program allows junior players of all ages to pick up a hockey stick and run through the basic techniques needed for the game, develop and refine skills whilst learning some new tricks too. This is a great introduction for new players and a fantastic opportunity to make new friends along the way.
The sessions will generally be split into two parts, the skill component and a small game. On the day, players will be spilt into similar skill levels to help shape the skills needed. We will continue to identify and move players around different groups to gain exposure, balance skill levels and allow for interaction with similar age groups.
Those who are new to the sport, JLHC are able to provide some hockey sticks and shin pads if required. Mouthguards are essential.
These sessions with be run by experianced senior players under the supervison of Junior Development Coach Pez once again.
We look forward to seeing you down there.
