Welcome to the 2026 Joondalup Lakers Hockey Club Winter Season Registration

Important Notice
JLHC is unable to offer a reduction in players fees this year, unlike in previous years. WIthout the generous support of our members through donatations of eligble containers through Containers for Change, JLHC are unable to subsidise player registration fees this year. We still remain one of the most affordable clubs in the Perth metroplitan area and hope that by increasing the Containers For Change donations, we can look to make hockey at JLHC more affordable and accessible for all.

Hockey Australia and Hockey WA’s mandatory Membership Levy and Insurance are still in place, this amount is included within your Lakers fees as listed below.

JLHC Fees 2026

Payment plans are available as an option at registration.

Junior registrations please note – if you are unable to register for your age group it is because we have reached the maximum number of players. Please email juniors@lakers.asn.au to add your child’s name to a waiting list. We cannot guarantee names on the waiting list will be allocated a team.

If you are a Senior Player who would like to join as a FIFO Player please contact us at registrar@lakers.asn.au

"Year 13" Players

If you are a junior who has completed Year 12 last year and is moving into in the Senior competition this year, please register under the "Year 13" registration category. This allows a "Year 13" player to pay the same registration fee as all Year 9-12 player's during your first year in Seniors, regardless if you are working, studying or pursing other pathways. We hope this initative is taken up by as many eligble members as possible.

KidSport

KidSport enables eligible Western Australian children aged 5 to 18 years to participate in community sport by offering them financial assistance of up to $300 per financial year towards club fees and essential uniforms and equipment. Click here to see if your child is eligible. Once your application has been completed and you are eligible, you will be contaced via email with a voucher number. Please email this to treasurer@lakers.asn.au - and the club will be able to provide you with a discount code that can be used at the checkout.

If you require any further information, including assistance with the Kidsport process, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Tax Deductible Donations

JLHC have teamed up with Australian Sports Foundation which will enable you to make tax deductible donations to our club.

How does it work? During the registration process you will be asked if you wish to make a fully tax deductible donation to our club via ASF. You can choose an amount listed or specify your own. Payment will be taken with your registration fees and ASF will email you the receipt for your donation, which you can claim on your tax return. ASF will take a 5% fee from this amount and Lakers will receive the rest.
